എറണാകുളം – കേരളത്തിലെ മുഴുവൻ സുകൃതം പാലിയേറ്റീവ് പ്രവർത്തകരും അണിനിരന്ന സംഗമം, പ്രവർത്തകരുടെ പങ്കാളിത്തം കൊണ്ടും, സാമൂഹ്യ പ്രതിബദ്ധതയുള്ള പ്രാസംഗികരാലും, അനുഗൃഹീതമായ സംഗമം, എല്ലാ രീതിയിലും, എപ്പോഴത്തെയും പോലെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കയ്യൊപ്പോടുകൂടി നടന്ന മഹാസംഗമം.
സേവാഭാരതി സംസ്ഥാന അധ്യക്ഷൻ ഡോ. രഞ്ജിത് വിജയഹരിയുടെ അധ്യക്ഷതയിൽ തുടങ്ങിയ പ്രഥമ കാലാംശത്തിൽ, റിട്ടയേർഡ് ഡി. ജി. പി, ശ്രീ. ജേക്കബ് തോമസ് ഐ. പി. എസ് സുകൃത സംഗമം ഉദ്ഘാടനം നിർവഹിച്ചു. നൂറുവർഷക്കാലം ആരോഗ്യത്തോടെയും സന്തോഷത്തോടെയും സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തോടെയും ജീവിക്കുക എന്ന മാനുഷികമായ ആഗ്രഹത്തിന് താങ്ങും തണലുമായാണ് സേവാഭാരതി സുകൃതം സാന്ത്വന വയോജന പദ്ധതി നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്നത് എന്ന് ശ്രീ ജേക്കബ് തോമസ് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഉദ്ഘാടന പ്രസംഗത്തിൽ പറഞ്ഞു.
സേവാഭാരതി സംസ്ഥാന ജനറൽ സെക്രട്ടറി ഡോ. ശ്രീരാം ശങ്കർ സുകൃതം കാഴ്ചപ്പാട് എന്ന വിഷയത്തിൽ വിശദമായി പ്രവർത്തകരോട് സംസാരിച്ചു. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സംസാരത്തിൽ സുകൃതം പദ്ധതിയുടെ ഇതുവരെയുള്ള വളർച്ച, മുന്നോട്ടുള്ള യാത്ര എന്നിവയെക്കുറിച്ച് വിശദമായി അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു. കൂടാതെ വയോജന സഹായ പദ്ധതിയായ ‘വിളിക്കാനൊരു നമ്പർ’ എന്ന പദ്ധതിക്ക് ആരംഭം കുറിച്ചു. അവതരണത്തിന്റെ അവസാനത്തിൽ സംഗമത്തിൽ പങ്കെടുത്ത എല്ലാവരും പരസ്പരം കൈകോർത്ത് പദ്ധതിക്ക് ഐക്യദാർഢ്യം പ്രകാശിപ്പിച്ചു.
സേവാഭാരതി സുകൃതം പദ്ധതിയെ നൂറിലധികം വാഹനങ്ങൾ ദാനം ചെയ്തു സഹായിച്ച സേവശക്തി ഫൌണ്ടേഷൻ മാനേജിങ് ഡയറക്ടർ ശ്രീ സി എസ് മോഹനനെ സംഗമത്തിൽ ആദരിച്ചു, തുടർന്ന് സഭയിൽ അദ്ദേഹം ആശംസ അർപ്പിച്ചു സംസാരിച്ചു, സേവനം ഈശ്വര കല്പിതമെന്നും, കലികാലത്തിൽ സേവനമാണ് ഈശ്വരപൂജയെന്നും പറഞ്ഞു.

നടക്കുന്നതിലെ പ്രയാസം ഒന്നിലധികം പേർ ചേർന്ന് നടക്കുന്നതിലൂടെ ഇല്ലാതാക്കാം അതുപോലെതന്നെ ആതുര സേവനരംഗത്ത് പ്രത്യേകിച്ചും പാലിയേറ്റീവ് രംഗത്ത് കേരളത്തിന് ഒപ്പം നടക്കുന്ന പ്രസ്ഥാനമായി സുകൃതം പദ്ധതി മാറിയിരിക്കുന്നു. സാന്ത്വന പരിചരണ രംഗത്ത് പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന നമ്മൾ ഓരോരുത്തരും സാന്ത്വന പരിചരണത്തിന് കാരണമാകുന്ന തരത്തിലേക്ക് മനുഷ്യരാശിയെ തള്ളി വിടുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങളെ കണ്ടറിഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ട് ഒരു സ്വതന്ത്ര സുരക്ഷാ സംവിധാനം രൂപപ്പെടുത്തിയെടുക്കേണ്ടത് ആവശ്യമാണ്. ശസ്ത്രക്രിയ നടത്തുന്ന ആധുനിക ശാസ്ത്രത്തിന്റെ കണ്ടുപിടിത്തമായ റോബോട്ടിനോ, നിർമ്മിത ബുദ്ധിക്കോ എത്തിപ്പെടാൻ സാധിക്കാത്ത മനുഷ്യത്വം എന്ന ഗുണത്തെ കണ്ടറിഞ്ഞു കൊണ്ടുള്ള സേവാ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾക്ക് താങ്ങും തണലും ആകാൻ കൂട്ടിരിക്കാൻ, സാന്ത്വനമേകാൻ സേവാഭാരതിക്ക് മാത്രമേ സാധിക്കൂ. അതിനായി പരിശീലനബദ്ധമായ ഒരു പ്രവർത്തകനിരയെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചെടുക്കലാണ് സേവാഭാരതിയുടെ ദൗത്യം എന്നും ഡോക്ടർ ആശംസ പ്രസംഗത്തിൽ പറഞ്ഞു.

Sukrutha Sangamam 2026 Successfully Held at Bhaskareeyam Auditorium, Ernakulam …….
Sukrutha Sangamam 2026 was successfully held on 19 July 2026 at Bhaskareeyam Auditorium, Ernakulam, bringing together Sukrutham Palliative Care volunteers from across Kerala. The gathering was enriched by the enthusiastic participation of volunteers, inspiring addresses by socially committed speakers, and exhibition stalls displaying a wide range of products created by women’s self-help groups under the Vaibhavashree Self-Reliance Initiative. In every sense, the event turned into a memorable congregation, blessed with the spirit of service and divine grace.
The inaugural session was presided over by Dr. Renjith Vijayahari, President of Seva Bharathi Kerala. The event was inaugurated by Shri Jacob Thomas, IPS (Retd. DGP). In his inaugural address, he stated that the Sukrutham Palliative Elderly Care Project of Seva Bharathi serves as a pillar of support for the universal human aspiration to live a hundred years with health, happiness, dignity, and independence.
Dr. Sreeram Shankar, General Secretary of Seva Bharathi, delivered a detailed presentation on the theme “The Vision of Sukrutham.” He explained the remarkable growth of the Sukrutham project over the years and outlined its future roadmap. During his presentation, he also launched the elderly support initiative titled “Vilikkanoru Number” (A Number to Call). At the conclusion of the presentation, all the participants joined hands to express their solidarity and collective commitment to the new initiative.
The gathering also honoured Shri C. S. Mohanan, Managing Director of Sevashakthi Foundation, which has supported the Sukrutham project by donating more than one hundred vehicles. Addressing the gathering, he emphasized that service is divinely ordained and that in the present age, serving humanity is the highest form of worship.
Dr. Rajashree K. C., Associate Professor, Department of Palliative Medicine, Amrita Hospital, Ernakulam, was felicitated during the event. She also released the Sukrutha Sangamam Souvenir and addressed the participants. In her speech, she observed that just as the difficulty of walking is eased when people walk together, the Sukrutham project has become a movement that walks alongside Kerala in the field of palliative care. She emphasized that those engaged in palliative care must also recognize and address the factors that push people toward suffering and the need for care, and work towards creating an effective community-based support system. She further noted that compassion and human touch are qualities that neither advanced robotic surgery nor artificial intelligence can replace. Standing beside those in pain, offering companionship, and providing emotional support are uniquely human responsibilities, and Seva Bharathi is well positioned to fulfil them. She added that building a well-trained cadre of volunteers for compassionate service is one of Seva Bharathi’s greatest missions.
The programme also featured the presentation of the Nivedita Seva Puraskar for Model Nurse, Model Volunteer, and Model Committee, along with the Bhaskarajyothi Seva Puraskar and the Sukrutham Seva Puraskar. The awards were presented respectively to Smt. Ajitha T. (Palakkad), Smt. Bindu L. (Azhur), and the Koyilandy Committee by Shri Jacob Thomas, IPS (Retd. DGP), Shri P. N. Ravikumar (Kshetriya Seva Pramukh), Shri Jose Pulimoottil (Director, Sukrutham Santhwana Care Project), and Shri A. Gopalakrishnan (Patron, Seema Jagaran Manch, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh).
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Shri M. Rajeev, State Secretary of Seva Bharathi.
