അടുത്ത 5 ദിവസം വ്യാപകമായി ഇടിമിന്നലോടുകൂടിയ മഴക്ക് സാദ്ധ്യത ; ഏറ്റവും പുതിയ കാലാവസ്ഥാ മുന്നറിയിപ്പ്

ലക്ഷദ്വീപിന് മുകളിലായി സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്തിരുന്ന ചക്രവാതച്ചുഴി മധ്യ കിഴക്കൻ അറബിക്കടലിൽ കർണാടക -ഗോവ തീരത്തിന് മുകളിൽ ന്യൂനമർദമായി ശക്തി പ്രാപിച്ചു.

ഓഗസ്റ്റ് ഇരുപത്തിനാലോടെ (2024 ഓഗസ്റ്റ് 24) വടക്കൻ ബംഗാൾ ഉൾക്കടലിൽ പുതിയൊരു ചക്രവാതച്ചുഴി രൂപപ്പെടാൻ സാധ്യത.

കേരളത്തിൽ അടുത്ത 5 ദിവസം വ്യാപകമായി ഇടി/മിന്നലോട് കൂടിയ നേരിയ/ഇടത്തരം മഴക്ക് സാധ്യത.

ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ട സ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ ഓഗസ്റ്റ് 25 – ന് ശക്തമായ മഴക്ക് സാധ്യതയെന്ന് കേന്ദ്ര കാലാവസ്ഥാവകുപ്പ് അറിയിക്കുന്നു.

Under the influence of cyclonic circulation over Lakshadweep & neighbourhood, a low pressure area has formed over eastcentral Arabian sea off Karnataka-Goa coasts at 0530 hr IST of today, the 22nd August 2024. Associated cyclonic circulation and extends upto 5.8 km above mean sea level tilting southwestwards with height. It is likely to move gradually northwards during next 24 hours.

A cyclonic circulation likely to form over North Bay of Bengal & neighbourhood around 24th August.

Fairly widespread to widespread light to moderate rainfall accompanied with thunderstorm, lightning & gusty winds likely over Kerala & Mahe, during next 5 days .

Isolated heavy rainfall very likely over, Kerala & Mahe, today on 25 August 2024
